What is SAY (spelman)?

S.A.Y is a student-led organization and operates independently of CDF. CDF recognizes the organization and supports its youth leadership development and child advocacy. The Chapter, though independent from CDF, is designed to support the Leave No Child Behind® mission of CDF through activities in three primary program areas:
- Community Social Action
- Policy and Professional Action
- Direct Youth Action

The organization follows CDF’s model, as a nonpartisan organization that is committed to the issues that impact children.

• The purpose of this organization is to educate college scholars and the greater Atlanta community on social and political issues affecting children and youth; and to reach out to minority children who are socio-economically disadvantaged.
